CityHouse Delray Beach, Inc. receives funding for its Home and Housing Project.
Impact 100 Palm Beach County awards $100,000 to CityHouse Delray Beach Inc. to assist people in Palm Beach County to provide housing for homeless single mothers and their children in the Boca Raton area.
This grant will significantly impact our housing project in Boca Raton,” said Executive Director Lisa Wanamaker. “We are grateful to Impact 100 Palm Beach County for endorsing our work in the community. Their grant underscores our commitment to keeping families together and their support is equally as important as their funding – it means they are taking note of our work in Palm Beach County and adding credibility to our mission.”
Impact 100 Palm Beach County is a women’s 501c3 nonprofit organization funding local nonprofit initiatives in southern Palm Beach County – between Boca Raton and Lake Worth. It is comprised of a growing number of women who donate $1,000 annually. Women who made a $1,000 donation to become an annual member, pooled those donations together to make multiple $100,000 grants to deserving charities in the focus areas of Arts, Culture and Historic Preservation; Education; Environment and Animal Welfare; Family; and Health and Wellness.
“These grantees are in the application process for funding for nearly a year,” said Kathy Adkins, President of Impact 100 Palm Beach County. “Given these uncertain times, we know that receiving these high-impact grants is more critical to our finalists than ever. We love positively impacting our community with these transformative grants, and we are delighted to support the efforts of CityHouse with this grant.”
